Child Care as Workforce Infrastructure: A Conversation for Employers and Community Leaders

Join Jeff Andrews, President of Business of Child Care, and Matthew Henry, Senior Director of Government Solutions at TOOTRiS, for a focused 45-minute discussion on how employers, providers, and community leaders can work together to align child care with workforce needs.
This session will explore how Child Care House and hosted space models can be designed to match industry schedules, support local providers, and strengthen workforce reliability. Participants will also hear about new federal provisions that make employer participation more practical and financially feasible, along with an example from another community exploring collaborative, small-scale facilities to expand licensed child care capacity.
